I already own a microcurrent device (like Nuface or your FLARE). Why do I need the SPHERA?
This is a great question. Think of FLARE as a focused "facial gym" for lifting. SPHERA is your entire "at-home clinic." It includes that same lifting technology, but adds professional-grade RF (Radiofrequency) for deep collagen rebuilding, Needle-Free Microneedling (A-SHOT) to refine pores, next-gen Electroporation (INFUSE) to push your serums deeper, and a Cryo-Therapy (COOL) mode to calm it all down. It’s a complete, systemic solution, not just a lifting tool.
Is the 'Needle-Free Microneedling' (A-SHOT) painful? Does it have actual needles?
Absolutely not. It is 100% needle-free and painless. The name can be intimidating, but the technology is not! It uses "Electric Microneedle" technology, which creates temporary, non-damaging micro-pathways on the skin's surface. You may feel a slight tingle, but there is zero pain, zero downtime, and no redness, unlike traditional in-clinic microneedling.
How is the INFUSE (Electroporation) mode really different from the 'infuse' mode on the FLARE?
This is the SPHERA's "secret weapon." The FLARE uses Iontophoresis (1st Gen tech), which can only "push" small, charged ingredients. Our INFUSE+ mode uses Electroporation (2nd Gen tech). It temporarily "opens" channels in your skin, allowing it to absorb the large-molecule, "neutral" ingredients that 1st gen tech leaves behind—like Retinol, Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, and Collagen. It makes your entire existing skincare routine more powerful.
How often do I need to use this? I'm busy and worried I won't be consistent.
We designed SPHERA specifically for real, busy lives. You don't need to use all 5 modes every day! We recommend using the LIFT and TIGHTEN modes 3-5 times a week, for just 5 minutes each. The A-SHOT mode is best used 1-2 times a week. The INFUSE and COOL modes can be used daily, or whenever you need them.
With 5 different modes, how do I know which one to use for my skin?
We made this incredibly simple. The device comes with a "Smart Usage Guide" in the manual, featuring pre-set routines. For example:
- For Lifting & Sagging: Use LIFT mode, followed by COOL mode.
- For Firming: Use TIGHTEN mode, followed by COOL mode.
- For Pores & Texture: Use A-SHOT mode, followed by INFUSE+ mode (with your serum), and finish with COOL mode.
What do the LIFT and TIGHTEN modes feel like? Will it shock me?
Not at all. Both modes are designed for comfort.
- LIFT mode: You will feel a gentle "tapping" or "thumping" as the EMS gently contracts your facial muscles. It feels active, but not painful.
- TIGHTEN mode: This mode uses RF (Radiofrequency) and feels like a pleasant, warming sensation. It's very relaxing, like a warm stone massage, as it works deep to build collagen.
What's the point of the COOL mode? Is it just a gimmick?
It's not a gimmick; it's the "professional closing step" that most at-home devices are missing. Professional clinic treatments (like RF or microneedling) almost always end with Cryotherapy. Our COOL mode (which chills to 15°C / 59°F) is designed to be used immediately afterLIFT, TIGHTEN, or A-SHOT. Do I have to use a specific INIA serum with the INFUSE mode?
You do not! The INFUSE mode is "brand-agnostic," which is what makes it such a great investment. It is specifically engineered to work with your own favorite serums, especially those with powerful, large-molecule ingredients like Retinol, Peptides, or Hyaluronic Acid, making them work better.
Is this device safe for sensitive skin or rosacea?
Yes. The SPHERA was designed with sensitive skin in mind. Except for the COOL mode, the intensity levels for all other modes are fully adjustable. In fact, the COOL mode is fantastic for calming flushing and redness often associated with rosacea. As with any new device, we recommend starting on the lowest setting and doing a patch test first.

My only minor suggestions for future models would be to cover the open charging port and make the buttons slightly larger. I bought the facial mask and have followed up with the "sphere". I am 65 and do not like the lip lines, marionette lines and skin pitting. Over all I have good skin and have been out of the sun for years. I am in love with both these products. I use the face mask on my face and top of my head for a hair treatment, I know you have a hat but I'm on social security so money is tight. This is a great device to support and enhance a skin care routine. I use it for about 10 minutes most nights on my face, neck & chest, and rotate through the different modes, a different one each night, to coordinate with my skincare. Use the A-shot mode plus a spicule collagen treatment one night, RF and barrier support/hydration another, then the lift mode followed by EGF, retinal and peptides on other nights, and the infuse mode with serums for treating hyperpigmentation once or twice a week. My skin is looking brighter, plumper and more lifted (including the jowls) after just a few weeks. Its easy to use and is a fun nighttime routine to look forward to! Very happy with this device and think its effective if used regularly.
